Sunday post #19
A friend recently asked me ‘When do you help a business?’ A simple question that I’m working on creating a simple answer to.
To start I brainstormed the type of questions I’m often asked and focused them down to the real design and brand challenges my clients have. I then created a timeline of key stages of the journey of a business.
Work in progress - timeline of the journey of a business
The photo above shows the business timeline with notes on how I support below the key stages.
Now I have a more focused answer for my friend. I support businesses at every stage of their journey. I create identities for new businesses and start-ups, work with them on brand and design as they grow, and support leaders and their teams to make brand and design decisions when they face change.
In the studio
It was all about design for events this week at VS+YO, I collaborated with Vicki on creating everything from an event identity to emails, flyers, banners, cushions, giveaway swag, and more. The challenge I love with events is balancing staying true to the brand identity while pushing the design to make it feel unique and memorable to celebrate a moment in time.
Yoshan update
